Hewlett-Packard, Vodafone To Launch Two Smartphones In Europe

LONDON -(Dow Jones)- Computer maker Hewlett-Packard Co. (HPQ) and mobile phone operator Vodafone Group PLC (VOD) said Tuesday they are launching two new smartphones in Europe. The HP IPAQ voice Messenger and HP IPAQ Data Messenger phones will be available through Vodafone's business sales channels in the U.K. and eventually in other European countries. Smartphones are devices capable of running services such as music, Internet browsing and business software.
